Who We Are
We exist for the praise of the glory of God’s grace in Christ Jesus. Everything we do as a church must bring glory to God in the name of Christ Jesus. This is the reason behind all that we do as a church.
We are an intergenerational church. We value every generation from the youngest to the oldest. We are intentional to bring each generation together in ministries, fellowship, and worship.
We are overtly trinitarian. We believe in the Trinity and are always looking for the work of the Father in the Son by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that discipleship should be a seamless journey in every stage of life. We view our preschool, children, and youth ministries as an integrated whole leading into ministries for adults.
We value people. We present God’s ideal plan for people as revealed in the Bible, while embracing the reality of human experience. We acknowledge that everyone struggles in various ways to fulfill God’s plan, that everyone falls short, and that everyone deserves to be loved and nurtured in their journey with Christ.
We value justice and equality. Justice and equality are values given and defined by God and His righteousness. Because we are called to become more like Christ, we value justice, mercy and righteousness. We condemn racism, prejudice, and bigotry of all kinds. Most of all, we hold up Christ and His kingdom as the only real solution to the problem of sin in society and in the individual human heart.
