Troy McKay

Troy serves as Music Minister. Originally from Kansas City, Troy came to a saving faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 18. A classical musician by trade, Troy holds advanced degrees in music from Illinois State University and Northwestern University, and he has performed Trumpet with The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” since 1998. In 2004, Troy surrendered to the ministry and has served as Music Director at Fellowship Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Waldorf, where he leads the choir, orchestra, dramatic ministries, and children’s music. Troy lives in La Plata, Maryland, with his wife Lucile and their sons.
